The suppliers involved in running JunkGate, what each one handles, and the notice you get before that list changes.

Below you will find what each supplier does rather than what it is called. That is a deliberate choice and you are entitled to know the reason: naming some of these suppliers would identify where this business is based, and the owner has chosen not to publish that on a public page.
It is a trade, and we would rather describe it than let you discover it. You get a small amount of public opacity about our suppliers, and in exchange you get none of the private kind: if you are a customer, or you are assessing us before becoming one, ask at support@junkgate.com and we will give you the names, the regions and the purpose in writing. Nobody with a real reason to know is refused.
This page forms part of the data processing addendum.
What it does: runs the application, the database and the backups. This is where your submissions actually live.
What it handles: everything the service stores, including submission content and your account information.
Where: a region we will name on request.
What it does: reads the content and intent of a submission and returns a verdict and a short reason. This is the part of the product that makes the decision.
What it handles: the fields your form collects and the text of the message, for as long as the decision takes.
What we can tell you about it: the message goes out, it is classified automatically, and a verdict comes back. We do not send your enquiries to anybody to be read by a person. If you need that provider's own published data-handling commitments before you sign anything, ask us and we will give you what they publish rather than paraphrase it for you.
What it does: sends the notifications, sign-in emails and release notices, and forwards genuine mail on to your real inbox.
What it handles: your email address, and the notification itself, which contains the submission. When you release a held message, the original notification is sent to you again through this supplier, unchanged.
There is not one. No payment processor is connected to this service, nothing is charged, and no card details exist anywhere in it. When that changes, this page will say so at least 30 days before it starts, like any other change below.
There is no advertising, analytics or visitor-tracking supplier anywhere in this service or on this website. Not a smaller one, not a privacy-friendly one, none. Nothing here is counting you.
Before a new sub-processor starts handling anything covered by the data processing addendum, we will:
both at least 30 days in advance. If you object within those 30 days and we cannot resolve it between us, you can end your subscription and we will refund the unused part of anything you have paid for.
We stay responsible to you for what these suppliers do with your data, to the same extent as if we had done it ourselves.
