Why not just add a CAPTCHA?

Because it charges your real customers for your spam problem. Every genuine enquiry has to stop and prove something, some of them give up, and you never learn which ones.

A CAPTCHA proves the sender is human. It cannot tell a customer from a scammer, and the junk that costs you real money is typed by people: the fake bulk order, the payment diversion, the invoice that is not yours.

Installing

Install and activate the JunkGate plugin.
Paste your site key. That is the configuration, in full.
Your site starts in watch-only. Nothing is held, and the dashboard fills with what JunkGate would have kept out of your inbox.
When you are satisfied, switch it on.

If the plugin is deactivated, your forms keep working normally. JunkGate sits beside your form rather than in front of it, so nothing about your site depends on us being there.
